Key treatments include wound cleansing with Triphala decoction, dressing with Jatyadi taila or Apamarga Kshara taila for tissue regeneration, and Jalaukavacharana (leech therapy) for microcirculation restoration.

According to I-AIM Healthcare Centre, Ayurveda Hospital in Bangalore, “Diabetic foot management needs a protocol that addresses wound healing, sugar regulation, and peripheral circulation all at the same time.”

Not sure which Panchakarma therapy suits your condition? Book Appointment

What causes diabetic foot ulcers to resist healing and lead to amputation?

Peripheral neuropathy, vascular insufficiency, and chronic hyperglycemia create conditions where minor foot injuries progress to limb-threatening ulcers.

Diabetic neuropathy: Sensory nerve damage from prolonged hyperglycemia eliminates pain sensation in feet. Pressure sores, blisters, and cuts develop unnoticed. Wounds reach advanced infection before clinical detection

Peripheral vascular disease: Atherosclerotic narrowing of lower limb arteries reduces oxygen delivery and immune cell transport to wound site. Healing capacity drops below threshold needed for tissue repair

Hyperglycemia and infection: Elevated blood glucose feeds bacterial proliferation directly. Minor ulcers progress to cellulitis, then osteomyelitis when infection reaches bone. Wagner Grade 3 necrosis outpaces any dressing protocol

Delayed presentation: Majority of diabetic foot patients in India present at Wagner Grade 2 or 3. Neuropathy masks early symptoms completely. Primary care checkups frequently skip foot examination during routine diabetic reviews

Gangrene spreading and suddenly everyone’s talking amputation. Makes sense when sepsis is on the table. But here’s what gets skipped in that conversation. Wagner Grade 1 and 2 ulcers do respond to treatment. You just have to catch them before the tissue is gone for good. The surgical department looks at each foot individually. No cookie-cutter decisions happening here.

How does Ayurvedic wound care protocol prevent diabetic foot amputation?

Sushruta Samhita’s Shastiupakrama documents 60 wound procedures for converting Dushta Vrana into healable Shuddha Vrana through staged clinical intervention.

Triphala Prakshalana: Wound irrigation with Triphala kashaya containing Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica, and Emblica officinalis. Provides antibacterial, antifungal, and antimutagenic action preserving fragile granulation tissue

Jalaukavacharana: Medicinal leeches secrete over 20 bioactive compounds including hirudin, bdellins, and histamine. These deliver anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, and vasodilation effects restoring microcirculation in ischemic tissue

Jatyadi taila dressing: Applied during Vrana Ropana phase after wound bed converts from Dushta to Shuddha stage. Jatyadi taila or Apamarga Kshara taila promotes layer-by-layer tissue regeneration from wound base upward

Internal metabolic correction: Chandraprabha vati regulates glycemic and urinary pathways. Shilajit supports peripheral nerve repair. Vasant Kusumakar Ras prevents diabetic complication progression throughout wound healing duration

NCBI has published case reports. Complete healing of diabetic foot osteomyelitis. Antibiotics had failed for months in those cases. Months. And then the Ayurvedic wound protocol worked where the antibiotics couldn’t. A man from Dakshina Kannada showed up at I-AIM after being told his toe had to go. His local hospital had basically given up. Did the full Shastiupakrama protocol here. Walked out on both feet. Three years now. No recurrence. No infection. That’s not us claiming it. Follow-up X-rays confirmed it. Read how Panchakarma supports metabolic recovery in chronic diabetic conditions.

Why Choose I-AIM Healthcare Centre?

I-AIM Healthcare Centre is NABH-accredited with Shalya Tantra surgeons who’ve spent years treating Dushta Vrana, diabetic wounds, and peripheral vascular cases that showed up after other hospitals said nothing more can be done. Some of those patients walked in on crutches. They walked out without them.

His toe is still there. Three years and counting. Sushruta’s wound classification system plus modern X-rays and blood panels made that happen. Not someone’s Instagram Ayurveda reel. Not a spa weekend with turmeric lattes and good vibes. Call 7204377000 to book your consultation.

Basti is a medicated enema therapy that corrects Vata Dosha by administering herbal oils or decoctions through the rectal route to nourish and lubricate body tissues. Virechana is selected when Pitta imbalance dominates with symptoms like acidity and skin inflammation and burning sensations while Basti is selected when Vata imbalance dominates with symptoms like joint pain and constipation and dryness and nerve-related complaints. Both require proper Purvakarma preparation including Deepana and Pachana and Snehana before the main procedure begins.

According to I-AIM Healthcare Centre, Ayurveda Hospital in Bangalore, “The choice between Virechana and Basti depends entirely on Dosha assessment and Agni status and patients who receive the wrong Panchakarma sequence often see worsened symptoms rather than improvement”

Not sure which Panchakarma therapy suits your condition? Book Appointment

How Is Virechana Different From Basti in What It Treats?

Virechana and Basti are distinct Panchakarma therapies where Virechana focuses on removing excess Pitta and detoxifying the liver and blood and treating inflammatory conditions while Basti primarily targets Vata imbalance and specializes in neurological and neuromuscular and chronic degenerative disorders by nourishing Dhatus and regulating the large intestine.

Pitta conditions: Virechana is the first choice for chronic acidity and hyperacidity and inflammatory skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema where excess Pitta needs direct elimination through the lower digestive route

Metabolic disorders: Diabetes and dyslipidemia respond well to Virechana because it corrects Agni directly and clinical studies show it reduces triglyceride levels significantly when combined with Shamana therapy afterwards

Skin diseases: Chronic dermatitis and urticaria and liver-related skin eruptions clear faster with Virechana because the therapy flushes Bhrajaka Pitta and purifies Rakta Dhatu from the source. That’s why dermatologists at Ayurvedic hospitals push Virechana before topical treatments

Preparation: Snehapana with medicated ghee runs 3 to 7 days before Virechana followed by Abhyanga and Swedana and the entire protocol including Samsarjana Krama takes 10 to 18 days to complete

Virechana improves Agni function and eliminates Pitta-dominant toxins from the body systematically. Learn about Panchakarma treatment in Bangalore.

Can Someone Need Both Virechana and Basti?

Yes. Sequential Panchakarma combining Virechana and Basti across 14 to 24 days provides comprehensive multi-Dosha rebalancing for severe or complex conditions. Virechana is administered first to clear Pitta and Ama and Basti follows 7 to 15 days later to correct Vata and nourish depleted tissues.

Dual Dosha involvement: Conditions like hypertension and diabetes and obesity involve both Pitta and Vata aggravation simultaneously and clinical studies on Pakshaghata patients show the combined Virechana-Basti group produces statistically better outcomes than either therapy alone

Sequencing protocol: Virechana is conducted first followed by Samsarjana Krama for 3 to 7 days and then Basti Chikitsa begins 7 to 15 days after Virechana depending on the strength of purgation achieved. If Virechana was mild the gap is shorter and if strong the gap extends

Duration: Basti treatment alone requires around 2 weeks while together with Virechana the complete protocol runs 3 weeks to 24 days including preparation and Samsarjana and the Kala Basti or Karma Basti schedule

Who needs both: Patients with chronic degenerative conditions and metabolic disorders and autoimmune diseases where both Pitta toxicity and Vata depletion coexist benefit most from the combined approach. Your doctor won’t sequence both unless the Dosha picture actually demands it

Both therapies work as complementary approaches to internal purification rather than competing alternatives.
FAQ

It reduces Vata aggravation in the cervical region and relieves nerve compression at C4-C5 and C5-C6 levels and eases paravertebral muscle spasms. Oils like Ksheerabala taila target nerve-dominant radiculopathy while Dhanwantharam taila addresses degenerative disc changes and Mahanarayan taila works on heavy inflammation. The 30 to 45 minute sessions run for 7 to 21 consecutive days nourishing cervical nerves and vertebral joints and restoring neck mobility and comfort.

According to I-AIM Healthcare Centre,Ayurveda Hospital in Bangalore, “Patients with C5-C6 and C6-C7 involvement consistently show improved nerve conduction and reduced radiculopathy scores after structured Greeva Basti protocols”

What Makes Greeva Basti Effective for Cervical Disc Degeneration?

Greeva Basti is effective for cervical disc degeneration by combining Snehana and Swedana to deeply nourish cervical tissues and alleviate Vata Dosha and reduce peridiscal inflammation. It relieves cervical spondylosis by increasing blood circulation to dehydrated discs and improving flexibility and relieving nerve compression at foraminal levels.

Oil penetration: Medicated oils like Ksheerabala and Dhanwantharam are held at therapeutic temperature over the posterior neck for 30 to 45 minutes and the prolonged contact lets anti-inflammatory compounds reach the intervertebral space directly without systemic side effects

Spasm release: Sustained warmth softens the rigid paravertebral muscles that lock up around degenerated segments which alone drops pain intensity noticeably within the first few sessions

Nerve relief: Swelling reduction around the cervical foramina takes pressure off compressed nerve roots so that tingling and numbness in the arms gradually settles

Disc rehydration: Degenerated discs lose moisture progressively and the oil pooling technique helps restore fluid content improving the cushioning function between vertebrae

Cumulative sessions over 7 to 14 days produce measurable anti-inflammatory effects in the cervical region. Learn about Panchakarma treatment in Bangalore.

How Does the Greeva Basti Protocol Work for Chronic Neck Pain?

Greeva Basti treats chronic neck pain by creating a dough-based reservoir over the posterior cervical spine to hold warm medicinal oils allowing deep targeted absorption into compressed disc segments. The process combines Snehana and Swedana to deeply nourish cervical tissues and improve mobility and relieve stiffness and reduce inflammation in degenerative cervical spondylosis.

Assessment: Your physician reviews cervical imaging and maps dermatome-specific numbness patterns and selects the medicated oil based on whether inflammation or degeneration dominates your presentation

Setup: Black gram flour dough is shaped into a sealed reservoir around the posterior neck that holds warm oil at controlled temperature throughout each 30 to 45 minute sitting

Combined approach: Greeva Basti pairs with Nasyam therapy and targeted neck exercises because oil therapy alone without rehabilitation doesn’t hold results long term. That’s something most patients don’t hear upfront

Recovery: Post-treatment includes cervical stretches and postural correction and significant pain reduction typically shows up between day 5 and day 8 of the protocol

Cervical spondylosis responds best when Greeva Basti sits inside a structured integrative plan rather than standalone therapy. Oils like Mahanarayana taila and Ksheerabala taila are selected based on whether the prolapse is inflammatory or nerve-dominant. The sustained warmth drives herbal compounds deep into paraspinal tissues and reduces peridiscal swelling around compressed nerve roots at L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels. This relaxes protective muscle spasms and restores blood flow to damaged disc segments and improves nutrient diffusion into avascular disc tissue. Protocols run 7 to 21 consecutive days based on MRI-confirmed prolapse grade.

According to I-AIM Healthcare Centre, Ayurveda Hospital in Bangalore, “Patients with L4-L5 and L5-S1 prolapse show consistent reduction in straight leg raise restriction and radicular pain intensity after completing structured Kati Basti protocols”

What Makes Kati Basti Effective for Lumbar Disc Prolapse?

Lumbar disc prolapse compresses the traversing or exiting nerve root depending on the direction and size of the herniation. Prolapse grades range from mild bulging to complete extrusion with sequestration of disc material into the spinal canal.

Oil absorption: Warm medicated oil held over the lumbosacral region for 30 to 45 minutes allows herbal anti-inflammatory compounds to penetrate through the posterior soft tissues and reach the peridiscal space where the actual inflammation sits

Nerve decompression: Sustained therapeutic heat reduces the inflammatory edema around compressed nerve roots at the foraminal level, and that’s what brings down the shooting leg pain faster than oral medications typically manage

Muscle release: Paraspinal muscles go into protective spasm around a prolapsed segment and stay locked for weeks, but the prolonged warmth from Kati Basti breaks that guarding cycle so the spine can actually move again

Disc nutrition: Damaged intervertebral discs are avascular structures that depend on diffusion for nutrient supply, and improved regional blood flow from the oil therapy enhances that diffusion mechanism significantly

Structured Kati Basti protocols over 14 to 21 days produce cumulative anti-inflammatory and tissue-healing effects in the lumbar region. Learn about Panchakarma treatment in Bangalore.

How Does the Kati Basti Treatment Protocol Work Step by Step?

Standard protocols run 7 to 21 consecutive days with each session lasting 30 to 45 minutes. Oil selection depends on MRI-confirmed prolapse grade and dominant symptom pattern.

Assessment: Your physician reviews lumbar MRI, tests dermatomal sensory loss patterns, checks reflexes and grades the prolapse before selecting the specific medicated oil and session duration for your case

Setup: Black gram flour dough is shaped into a raised ring over the lumbosacral area creating a sealed reservoir that holds 200 to 300 ml of warm oil directly over the affected disc levels throughout the sitting

Monitoring: Oil temperature is checked and replenished every few minutes because the herbs only penetrate effectively at sustained warmth, and this is where Basti Chikitsa protocols overlap with Kati Basti in targeting the lower spine. Most clinics don’t maintain temperature this carefully

Rehabilitation: Post-session includes specific lumbar stabilization exercises and postural correction because Kati Basti without rehabilitation is like laying a foundation without building on it

Disc prolapse recovery requires the full protocol course even after pain reduction begins. It pulls out excess Pitta and built-up toxins sitting in your liver, gallbladder, and small intestine. One of five Panchakarma procedures in classical Ayurveda, and probably the most misunderstood one. People hear “purgation” and panic. But it’s a carefully staged process, not something random.

According to I-AIM Healthcare Centre, Ayurveda Hospital in Bangalore,
“Virechana works best when the body’s been properly prepared through internal oleation and sweating over several consecutive days.”

What conditions does Virechana therapy address?

Not every health problem needs Virechana. It works specifically on Pitta-dominant conditions, and your physician figures out the intensity based on how deep the imbalance runs.

Skin disorders: Psoriasis, eczema, stubborn acne. These don’t just sit on the surface. Aggravated Pitta in the blood drives them, and Virechana clears that internal fire instead of just calming what you see on skin

Liver trouble: Bile flow slows down when you’ve been eating processed food for years or popping too many painkillers. This procedure goes after hepatic pathways directly. No shortcuts

Hyperacidity: You’ve tried antacids. They helped for a week. Then the burning came back. That pattern usually means the Pitta imbalance sits deeper in the GI tract than any tablet can reach

Metabolic buildup: High cholesterol, fatty liver starting to show on reports, weight stuck around the midsection. Virechana resets fat metabolism at cellular level, which is why the results tend to hold longer than diet changes alone

Here’s what most people skip. Getting assessed for your Prakriti and Vikriti first actually decides whether Virechana or a different Panchakarma procedure makes sense for your body.

How is Virechana therapy performed step by step?

Snehapana: Medicated ghee in increasing doses, 3 to 7 days straight. Sounds odd, but the ghee loosens toxins from tissues so they can actually move. Your doctor watches for specific signs that tell them oleation’s done

Swedana: Steam therapy comes next. Full body. Opens up tissue channels and pushes those loosened toxins toward your gastrointestinal tract where they can be flushed out

Purgation day: One herbal formulation triggers the evacuation. And yes, your Ayurvedic physician sits through it monitoring every round. Colour, consistency, frequency. That’s how they know when the body’s actually clean

Samsarjana Krama: Post-purgation diet. Thin rice water first, then slowly building back up over 3 to 7 days. Because eating a masala dosa the next morning would undo everything you just went through

Results aren’t instant for everyone. But clearer skin, lighter stomach, better energy. Most people report that within the first week itself.

Detoxification and Purification
The greatest advantage of Panchakarma is that it detoxifies the body by cleansing the toxins that have built up in the body. It does so by combining both internal cleansing and external therapies. This helps in cleaning the digestive system, enhancing immunity, and preventing chronic diseases.

Boosts Digestion and Metabolism
Health, according to Ayurveda, is centered around digestion. This treatment enhances digestive fire or Agni and normalizes the metabolic rate, thus enabling proper absorption of nutrition and effective removal of waste products. Improved digestion results in weight loss for many, improved appetites, and overall energetic feelings.

Enhancing Skin Health
By purging the body of toxins, Panchakarma significantly improves skin tone and texture. Skin rejuvenation is one of the noticeable benefits of Panchakarma treatment, especially for those dealing with acne or chronic skin conditions. It can help treat conditions like acne, eczema, and other skin disorders. At I-AIM Healthcare Centre, our Panchakarma treatment works to rejuvenate the skin, leaving you with a natural, youthful glow.

Restores Dosha Balance
The treatments involved in Panchakarma help balance the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Restoring dosha equilibrium through Panchakarma will improve overall health, such as joint pain, digestive disorders, and skin problems, making it a vital treatment for people seeking long-term wellness.

Anti-Aging and Rejuvenation
Panchakarma decelerates the aging process by rejuvenating not only the body but also the mind. Thus, it smoothens the skin, develops one’s resistance, and provides youthful vitality by clearing the toxins and nourishing the tissues.

Supports Weight Loss
With regular Panchakarma treatment, improved metabolism and proper digestion can result in natural weight loss. Detoxification involves the breakdown of fat deposits and waste products, which help in maintaining the right weight in a healthy way.

Improves Sleep Quality
Panchakarma also improves sleep quality by soothing the mind and relieving physical tension. Many people who suffer from insomnia or disturbed sleep patterns also find improved rest and relaxation after treatment.

Mental Clarity and Stress Relief
Panchakarma treatment works not only on the physical body, but it brings clarity and stress-free feelings to the mind. The therapies soothe the nervous system, which contributes to relaxation, reduction in anxiety, and all-around improvement in emotional well-being. According to Ayurveda, a peaceful mind holds the secret to good health.

Customized Panchakarma therapies
Customized Panchakarma therapies, tailored to specific disease conditions, support effective disease management while strengthening preventive health measures.

Seasonal detoxification
Seasonal detoxification, conducted under the expert supervision of an experienced Ayurvedic Vaidya, enhances immunity and promotes overall well‑being

While there are various remedies available, exploring the healing powers of nature through soothing and pain-relieving drinks can be a delightful and effective approach.

In this journey towards well-being, our latest blog dives into the world of comforting elixirs crafted to ease back pain, specifically tailored for an Indian context. From the golden hues of turmeric-infused milk to the aromatic charm of ginger-green tea and the herbal goodness of tulsi juice, discover a repertoire of beverages that not only tantalize your taste buds but also work harmoniously to alleviate discomfort.

Join us as we unravel the secrets of these healthful concoctions, inviting you to sip away the strain and embrace a holistic approach to back pain relief.

Turmeric Milk

Turmeric contains antioxidant, anti-arthritic, and anti-inflammatory properties. An easy method to consume turmeric is to mix a small quantity (1/2 teaspoon) of turmeric powder in a glass of warm milk. One can add honey or jaggery to the milk if a sweet taste is preferred. Consume this drink, preferably just before bedtime to allow the anti-inflammatory process to work while you sleep.

Consuming dairy products may increase inflammation in some people. In such cases, trying plant-based milk, such as almond milk can be helpful.

Ginger-Green tea

Infused-herbal drinks, such as ginger-green tea contains the pain-relieving benefits of both green tea and ginger. Ginger-green tea bags can be purchased from grocery stores and one can easily enjoy a cup either at work or at home.

Over a period, these anti-inflammatory agents can build up in your bloodstream, so including these drinks in your daily diet will help reduce overall inflammation and prevent new inflammatory pain.

Tulsi Juice

Boil 10 to 12 Tulsi leaves in a cup of water until the water evaporates to half. Allow it to cool down to room temperature, then add a pinch of salt to it. Drink this juice/ syrup once or twice a day if you have mild or severe back pain.

Ashwagandha Infusion

Boil a teaspoon of ashwagandha powder in a cup of water. Add a dash of honey or a squeeze of lemon for flavour.

Ashwagandha is known for its anti-inflammatory and adaptogenic properties, which may help alleviate stress-related back pain.

Ajwain (Carom Seeds) Tea

Boil a teaspoon of ajwain seeds in a cup of water. Strain and add a teaspoon of honey.

Ajwain has anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties, making it beneficial for relieving back pain caused by muscle spasms.

Cinnamon and Honey Elixir

Mix a pinch of cinnamon powder with a teaspoon of honey in warm water. Cinnamon has anti-inflammatory properties, and honey adds a touch of sweetness.

Regular consumption may help reduce inflammation and ease discomfort.

Jeera (Cumin) Water

Soak a teaspoon of cumin seeds in a glass of water overnight. Drink the infused water in the morning on an empty stomach.

Jeera is known for its anti-inflammatory and digestive properties, which may contribute to back pain relief.

Mint and Coriander Detox Drink:

Blend mint leaves and coriander with water to make a refreshing drink. Add a pinch of black salt for taste.

Both mint and coriander have anti-inflammatory properties and may provide relief from back pain.

And the worst part is, they make a grand entry on our face when we least want them to.

Acne

Acne starts with the over-production of sebum from the sebaceous glands which results in the blockage of the pores with a sticky mass of the dead cells and oil. It results in infection that occurs due to bacteria normally present in the skin. These convert the mass into compounds that cause inflammation and unattractive raised surfaces. Skin irritation may also result from the use of artificial cosmetics. The problem becomes worst by pinching, squeezing, scratching, or rubbing the skin area plagued with acne.

The reasons

One of the most common causes is hormonal imbalance that occurs at the time of adolescence. Some other causing factors that send invitation to acne are emotional stress and sex hormones. When active during puberty, androgen (a sex hormone), stimulates the oil glands typically on the face, chest, back and shoulders. Many girls are prone to acne usually in the week before menstruation.

Although junk food is linked to the problem at times but the prime suspects are sugars, saturated fat and iodized salt (liberally used on crisps, chips, and other fast foods) contained in them. Diet based on junk foods, snacks, chocolates, soft drinks, and alcohol is low in several vital nutrients. Deficiency of these nutrients may result in eruptions of acne.

Role of Nutrients

One must eat regular and healthy meals. A healthy diet can play a major role in the prevention as well as cure of acne. It is not just a matter of what you eat, but it is about what you do not eat.

Many acne sufferers are deficient in Zinc, Nuts, Yoghurt, Skimmed milk, and skinless poultry can supplement this mineral in the diet.

A diet rich in poly-unsaturated fats has been claimed to counteract the problem in people suffering from acne.

People with acne should eat plenty of green and orange vegetables and fruits (Carrots, Spinach, Apricot, Mangoes, etc.), and eggs. These are a good source of Vitamin A which helps to maintain healthy skin.

Several of the B vitamins are believed to prevent blackheads and leave the skin less greasy. It helps prevent appearance of acne. Acne sufferers should eat a diet rich in vitamin C as it makes them less vulnerable to infections. Vitamin E has a healing effect on the skin. It is found in Wheatgerm, eggs and cold-pressed vegetable oils.

Home Remedies for Acne

There are several herbal and folk remedies available for curing acne. Few of the most common practices are mentioned below:

Rub your acne with raw Garlic (Allium sativum) several times a day.

The pulp of Aloe (Aloe vera) is an exceptional skin cleanser. Juice of the plant counteract infection and promote healing. Split off a portion of Aloe vera leaf and rub the pulp directly on the skin.

Make a tea from Amaranth (Amaranthus spinosus) seeds and use as a face wash. To make the tea bring 3 cups of water to boil, add 2 teaspoons of seeds. Cover and boil for five minutes; remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of leaves and steep for 30 minutes

Neem (Azadirachta indica) is valued in Ayurvedic medicine for its varied healing properties due to its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral capabilities. For acne, fresh 5 leaves everyday taken in the morning helps in removing stubborn acne.

Clean your skin and apply Lemon (Citrus limon) juice with a cotton ball. The acid in Lemon helps flush out the pores and keeps the skin looking beautiful. Another method using Lemon juice is to “steam clean” the face by putting it over a pan of boiling water with a towel over your head to trap the steam. This will loosen the dirt and oil. Then apply a cotton ball to remove the dirt and oil buildup. Use this method once a week.

Drink a tea made by combining 0.5 teaspoons of Coriander (Coriandrum sativum), Cumin (Cuminum cyminum) and Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) and steeping it in hot water for 10 minutes. Strain and drink the tea after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Make an infusion of Basil (Ocimum basilicum) leaves. Put two to four teaspoons of dried Basil leaves in a cup of boiling water, steep for 10 to 20 minutes, cool, and apply to the acne.

Liquefy a peeled Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) in a blender and apply the juice to the acne. Another variation of this remedy is to drink four or five cups of Cucumber juice daily for a week. This is said to purify the blood and lymphatic system, resulting in a clearer skin.

Grape (Vitis vinifera) seed extractis a powerful all-around antimicrobial agent and is an excellent disinfectant. Make a solution of 4-40 drops in four ounces of water and apply to the affected areas with a cotton ball two or three times a day.

Wash your face with Chickpea (Cicer arietinum) paste (mix one teaspoon of chick-pea flour with a little water). Dry with a clean towel. This is also a good remedy to cure acne.

Use a blend of one part Beet (Beta vulgaris) root juice, three parts Carrot (Daucus carota) juice and two parts water to stimulate the liver and to cleanse the system.
